My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were:

Loose weight, healthier habits and exercise more.

Julia was able to help me work toward these goals by:

Julia helped in such an incredible way. Not by giving me a meal plan or exercise plan or even putting me on a diet. None of that. Actually we just sat and talked for an hour every second week and she changed my whole life. A lot of my issues concerning my health and weight were very much centred around bad habits and no being good at putting myself first. I have a pretty busy lifestyle so healthy choices on the go can be a challenge.

Through analysing my life and routines she tought me how to make better choices. She also helped manifest this into my surroundings that these changes were important to me and had to be respected. Being a people-pleaser it was very difficult for me before to ‘impose’ special food requests to my surroundings. I no longer view those as being imposing, and it is tremendously important to me that they are respected when I’m invited for food. Making it much easier for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle while having an active social and work life.

The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been:

I have lost a lot of weight, my psoriasis is practically gone and my skin has been glowing ever since. Also im very happy. I was happy before, but I am lot happier and more energetic than before.

The most significant overall change I have noticed has been:

I guess the physical changes are the most apparent to other people. Even the rise in energy and my clear skin has been something people have commented on the most. But I think for me that hasn’t been the biggest for me. It’s been the confidence in myself, Julia helped me build. I am better at speaking up for myself. I guess I have always been afraid that if I speak up for myself I would be rejected by my peers, that’s why I was always afraid to. It turns out that’s not true. I think people started respecting me more when I started speaking up for myself. Yes it started with food preferences but once I learned that it was okay I started speaking up in all aspects of my life.


A lot of my struggles with weight has always been connected to my emotions, so a meal plan was really never sufficient. I would recommend working with Julia to women especially, because our perception of worth in our society is so connected to the size of our bodies, and its easier if you are planning a healthy lifestyle change to have someone like Julia by your side.

Before going on a diet seemed like such a punishment for not being good enough and letting yourself become too big. That never worked out for me. Having Julia be my side, telling me to speak up and treat my self better by being healthy was an incredible journey. This is the first time I have lost a lot of weight where it didn’t feel like a punishment for myself, but rather it felt like I was finally treating myself well.


I ended my 6 months with Julia 4 months ago and sometimes people still asked me if I will ever go back to where I was before. I ask them "go back to what?" Some things in me were changed that can not be reversed. I am not the same person that I was when I started, so therefore I am happy to tell I can’t go back.

I would describe Julia as:

A truely wonderful person that will take you on a journey and if you trust the process and devote yourself to that process, she can help you find a better and healthier stable place.

I would recommend Julia to really anyone who has struggled with diets, being healthy , not exercising enough and all that and is still threading water. Stop beating yourself up and let Julia help you help yourself!
